Hello! My name is Cassidy Bell, and I am currently teaching Second and Third Grade Lower Elementary. I am teaching all subjects, except for science. I graduated from Randolph College in May 2023 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Currently, I am working towards my master’s degree in special and general education. After conducting my senior research here at New Vistas, I realized I wanted to learn more in the field of Special Education and work with students who need this more individualized instruction.

I was born and raised in Amherst County, Virginia. My whole life I have lived in the country, so I am not much of a city gal. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My family and I love going to festivals, shopping, and spending time outdoors. I have a Chorkie pup named Kye, who is my best friend, and I also am the fun aunt to six nephews and one niece. My family is very important to me.

My philosophy is based on my belief that every student is capable of learning, no matter what it takes. Every person is different and that includes the way we learn. My passion is exploring and discovering individual learning paths which create positive social and educational results for my students. I value positive teacher student relationships, and I strive to keep a laid-back and relaxed learning environment. I want every student to feel safe, comfortable and valued in my classroom.
