I am delighted, once again, to share my passion for art here at New Vistas School! I picked up a paintbrush six years ago and have since taken painting workshops as far flung as France and Ireland and as close to home as the Academy Center of the Arts. I am an art student, as well as an artist, which results in ongoing learning and creating.

I hold a B.A. in Communications and English from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and an M.A.T. in Elementary Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. My classroom experience in both public and private school settings puts me in a unique position to recognize the exceptional program at New Vistas School. It is a truly special place that meets the need of every student.

Favorite past times include spending time with my family, playing the piano and cello, and performing in community theater.
